Sevinç Karataş, founder of Calima Sourcing has been interested in all things of beauty since her childhood. Growing up between Istanbul and the beautiful Marmara Islands in Turkey, she was exposed to the fast pace and exciting creations of a city on the rise, balanced with summers in the relaxed lifestyle of the islands where nature dictated the pace and the fashion. Since then she has been inspired by her environment and her natural ability to create beauty in all she does.
She takes every opportunity to explore what the world has to offer, traveling to far lands and truly immersing herself into the culture, while reveling in the colours and hues of both highly commercial and unspoilt natural lands.
Over the years, she has grown and gained invaluable experience while working with some of the world's iconic brands in fashion and textile. She has also been able to chart her own path in fashion and now takes it to another level. With Calima Sourcing, she shares her expertise while connecting some of the best names in two related worlds, Fast Fashion and Textile Production.
